I recently purchased the switcher and it keeps stalling when traveling through my 0-72 switches on my layout. Is there a solution to correct this problem?

A model number would help. Their are many versions of this switcher.
Not sure of the pick up roller configuration, but 2 on the engine and one on the tender should be adequate to run through most switches.
What kind of 0-72 switches do you have? FasTrack? Ross? Tubular?
If has the wireless tether you can add a wired tether to connect the pickup rollers on the engine and tender together. This is not an uncommon problem even for engines much larger than this one.

I'm betting Atlas , notorious for dead spots.

What's the exact model of the B6? Is this the Legacy version or the older conventional model?
Thank you for all of the replies regarding the Lionel 0-6-0 Switcher. I going to add a wire to the tether line as Pete sugested
I add tender connections for many steamers to share the rollers, a very common issue.
I had one of those tubular switches, and it was problematic in so many ways that I put it in the trash rather than impose frustration on another O-gauger. The tether might work for this specific loco, but a better solution would be to replace that switch with a Ross (or a prewar original!)
