Hi can any of you guys suggest what product to use on the tender's coal load, to stop the coal from coming loose and falling out. Something that will be invisible when it dries.

This is the best home remedy without getting into specific chemicals the factory used:
supplies you’ll need
elmers white glue, syringe, low release masking tape, ( blue painters tape) water, ....( distilled if handy) small amount of 70% or 91% alchohol OR a drop of dish liquid soap ..
mix 50/50 glue and water, add a drop of alcohol or dish soap, set aside. Mask off the coal bunker area with low release tape, ( this is in case you’re messy) affix any loose pieces of coal you’d like back where they belong. Load the syringe with the glue mixture, and apply evenly and thinly across the entire coal pile, try not to puddle too much ( it will so don’t panic) here’s the ugly part: when you first apply the glue mixture it will look like crap!!!....but once the glue dries, usually takes a long time, sometimes overnight, it will dry crystal clear & flat sheen....and it will hold like iron,....
