You can control the basic functions using the TMCC feature, if that's what you're asking. You still need a TMCC or Legacy command base cabled to the TIU. For access to all the features, you need to use the Legacy remote and command base.

Thanks for the answer. I have access to a command base and cable. I'll hook it up to my tiu and give it a go.
