Lionel Centipede Heads Up

When I first opened up my UP centipede I noticed 2 small paint chips missing from the corners of the battery hatch area. To me the hatches seemed to fit loosely to me. Also the engineer was laying down on the job. I just got it back from Lionel and they replaced the cab and the engineer is now alert and on the job.

When it came back they replaced the cab and removed both hatches from both cabs and packed them separately to avoid future damage. If you have a centipede you may want to pack the hatches separately to avoid a future headache.
