Lionel Coal Tipple electrical question. | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi GUYZ,

I had gotten a Lionel Coal Tipple 6-32910. It didn’ work. I took it apart and found a wire wasn’t soldered for the LED car to hit on the deck to activate the two cherry switches to start the tipple. I resoldered it and that works great. I put it back together and tried it but only works from the dump to the restart. I changed the cherry switch and checked all the wiring to go to the boards for continuity and it is all good. If I move the wheel we’re the white line is it will go in the reverse as stated above. But for some odd reason won’t go in the forward direction. Motor sounds good but no go forward. Any thoughts on this? Thanks for your time.
