Hi everybody, I’m posting a picture of an issue that I’ve put on the back burner for a while. I Purchased a bunch of fast track switches from a local train show two years or so ago I noticed that one of the rails were broken oddly enough if you look at the picture, it’s at the end of the rail where the tab slides into the fast track slider to actually push the rail to the switch side. I was wondering if anyone else ran across this issue and if anybody knows of a part number to replace this item I hate to buy a replacement nonworking switch just to replace this part but I’m not sure what my options are , let me know what you guys think or if there’s a way to JB Weld it maybe solder it is really thin and if  you applying heat it just might melt. ..Don’t know , let me know what you guys thinkIMG_9842IMG_9843IMG_9846

Your switch, 6-81951    FasTrack O60 Remote/Command Control Left Hand Switch and its RH compliment are not listed on Lionel's Parts site, nor have they been in the last 2 years each time I've checked.

These switches use most of the same parts as the earlier version 6-12057 FasTrack O60 Left Hand Remote Switch.

The  part you need is identified on Lionel's Parts page as cs-6102057006-p SWIVEL RAIL / FASTRACK O60 REMOTE SWITCH / LH.

I've wanted to buy some spare points (swivel rails), but unfortunately they've been listed "Unavailable" on the parts site every time I check.

Maybe if you call Lionel Parts directly, they could get the part for you.  If you do call them, please let me know if they have these parts or not.

Hey Steve, thanks for the information I do recall trying to look up the part that’s needed and getting similar results. However, I’ve gotten no response from Lionel about part availability now this is going back a little bit now I don’t really see too many selling for a reasonable price for just parts And it’s a very odd part to go bad or be broken so where I live in South Carolina there’s not too many train shops at all locally unless I wanna travel out a couple hours I have yet to do that maybe they might have something laying around I don’t know. If something else pops up. In the meantime, I’ll be sure to post it. Thanks again guys.
