I have a used Fastrack Switch. the controller has both red and green lights on at the same time. Holding the lever to the straight will only be the green and the switch throws from curve to straight., The controller will not throw the switch to curve. when switched to curve, the switch will not work, and both leds are lit on the controller. Opened up and pushed the small switch buttons and the curve will not work. By holding the lever on the straight push button, letting off and both green and red light. Is there a fix for this?

Just checking the basics - are you sure the wires are in the correct order and making good contact in both the switch and the controller and that the jumper is in place in the switch if you are using track power ?
Here is how they should be wired
If you remove the wires, you can test the throw by touching the green or red to black. If that works, the controller is bad. Or swap for a known good one. The wiring at the turnout is in the manual.

Will open up the controller and check the wiring, the switch works fine with a controller from another switch.
thanks
These were my first fastrack swithces from the secondary market, and of the 6 only this one acted up. Checked the controller against Brendan's photo and the green and black were wrong. changed them and switch works fine.
thanks again
