After soldering wires from track to track in groups of 4, I realized that the ground wires were not all on the same side. Every group of 4 tracks will have a feeder wire to the bus wire. I would like to know if it is a problem if some of the ground wires are on different outer rails or not?

It won't be a problem if the grounding straps tying the two rails together are still in place.

The grounding strap may be seen below to the right of the plug terminals:
As long as that is present, both ground rails are electrically connected.
