So I get this email from Lionel this morning. I have always found the warehouse sale worth the 3 hour drive. However this is their store end of the season clearance sale. Is it going to be a handful of a few items at a small discount or is it a bigger event? Some examples of the sale would be nice, it is a 6 hour round trip for me. I would like to know if it is worth the drive Saturday.

I would of at least said what you could see there, heck you might find a loco that sold out and they have one in stock, turning a 650 dollar diesel into a 400 deal.
Take a carload of people each with a box full of dollars.

Well a phone call to them might help clear things up, but my gut tells me this is just for the store to clear out some merchandise - shirts, posters, coffee cups etc.
I doubt you'll see any train deals like the warehouse sale but those are only my thoughts.
