As mentioned in another posting I picked up one of these at Trainworld (Pa. RR). This was the first time I ever had the LionChief and it was a revelation. I use an old ZW transformer which only gave me a horn sound for newer engines but thanks to the remote I have bell and horn sounds, engine sounds and even voice announcements. The remote also works forward and reverse. The first time I ran it I played with at almost an hour and I was a happy camper. I even ran it for my 3 year old grand daughter via face time ( she lives in Bangkok with my son and daughter-in-law). 12,000 miles away she was thrilled and kept saying the Train, the Train. I wish I had bought one of these much earlier.
