I have this model and I wish to replace the whole smoke unit. This unit has no wishtle steam. So it has an older single smoke unit that has the fan motor mounted sideways with the rubber tube connecting the smoke reservoir to the fan unit impeller part. These were notorious for loud fan motors. Mine works and I realize I could just replace the fan motor. I just dont like this unit and want to replace it lock stock and barrel for a more trouble free one.
The lionel parts web sight shows this smoke unit out of stock. I think I have found a lionel replacement. Would this lionel smoke unit work? If not could some one recomend a sutable replacement. Thanks guys.
