I apologize in advance if this is an entirely stupid question...but, I don't want to leave this to chance. The description of a Lionel 6-34618 Legacy diesel (The 41st President version) says this, "Powerful maintenance-free motor with momentum flywheel."
That implies to me that there is only one motor in this locomotive...though I didn't think any single motor, top-of-the-line diesels had been made in this century.
Can/will someone confirm the number of motors in this particular SD70ACe...and/or all such Legacy diesels?
Thank you for your patient and kind reply(ies).
