HI GUY & GALS
I looking to get a diesel after Christmas . What are the smoke units like on these ? Are they like MTH fan driven units or soft like on the Lionel Christmas Rs-3 from a few years back ?

it doesn't show the smoke very well.
I have one and it smokes ok but not like a command engine.
They run excellent. The smoke unit is a fan driven unit. The smoke output is very good.

I will see if the funds are there after Christmas to get a Gp-9 lion chief + diesel.
