What's a Hudslons?
You guys must have failed spelling; but the 5418 has pretty good operation and looks, handles small curves, has ACRG smoke volume regulation, but no puffing smoke. One way to add puffing smoke is with Hennings (grj's) Super Chuffer, but the engine is really tight inside, very cramped. Don't know much about the 5422, sorry. Hope that helps!

There were actually 3. All were offered in the 2004 catalog. Features are all the same.
6-38045 NYC 5418
6-38085 NYC 5422
6-38086 B&A 607
Thank you so much Pat! I was pretty sure it was Chinese...😉
The only real difference between the NYC models is that the 38045 has the older NYC lettering style on the tender, and the 38085 has the newer block style lettering.
Sorry about the spelling guys. I thought I corrected it. But thanks for the info. This is a wonderful small Hudson I enjoy running it. I couldn't activate crew talk however
A steamer from that era wouldn't have crew talk so yours is actually more prototypical!
