Lionel Ogauge FastTrack Switches/Turnouts

All of the remote switches.  The owner's manual have this phrase:

"This switch is equipped with a non-derailing feature. The train’s wheels
automatically throw the blades to the proper position when the train travels toward
the converging track. "

What switch ??

Just to be clear, the non-derailing feature is not something Lionel just came up with. They described this feature in their 1931 catalog for both O gauge and standard gauge (O27 was not yet released). This is a relatively easy thing to include with 3 rail track systems. So, Lionel has been doing non-derailing switches with 3 rail track for 93 years.

So all switches that are remote are non derailing even the used $50 ones ? Sorry to be so thick headed. So the switches that are more expensive and "Command" are for Legacy systems ?

All Fastrack switches are non-derailing without power. All remote control switches also have powered non-derailing and non powered derailing. Command switches have an extra board to be controlled through the remote.
