I saw it this morning. No big deal.
"So I'd would've ran the NYC DREYFUSS HUDSON 4-6-4 STEAM or Commodore Vanderbilt for the wow factor!!"
however, they don't actually sell those now. be self defeating to show something that people can't get.
i thought i was a good spot and Moonson did a great job and i appreciate the "extra" pics.
Thank for posting the link. It was a nice segment.
I don't watch the morning shows, so I might be incorrectly remembering things, but isn't this the show where they replaced one of the woman co-hosts this year and there was a fair amount of drama?
I couldn't help thinking about how the woman who was replaced had shown a genuine interest in the Lionel train segment last year, or one of the years Lionel was on the show, while the replacement woman in the segment that aired today didn't appear to me to have any interest in the whole segment.
What was the price of that GCS? There is one on ebay for $1300.
Frank (Moonson), great job. Greatly appreciated and thanks for posting pictures as I don't have TV. Once again, great job.
Thank you, Dennis, I appreciate your kind approval.

I definatly love that little layout, great work and great to see Lionel on TV, even if it was just a blurb in the days programing. I would love to have that "Lionel" name and lower detailing below the benchwork on my layout!! Reminds me of the old showroom layouts produced by Lionel back in the post war era, just updated with fastrack and current era train. I tried fastrack, way more noise than my O31 tubular that has served me well since I was a boy, so back to tubular I went! I can add additional ties to tubular. Merry Christmas and Happy New New Year to everybody. Mike
... was pleasantly surprised when I saw the segment while at the gym this morning. What a nice little layout. Love the mountains, snow, and multi-levels.
I should imagine Lionel and TW Designs will be glad to hear your pleasant comments, as am I, Rixster, as well as Mike Caruso's, in particular. Let me share with everybody, then, a few further photos of the layout perhaps not as easily discernible on the televised segment this morning.
