I don't model narrow gaauge but I do have some 2-rail Lionel OO. Has anybody tried to run Lionel on modern On3 track?

I purchased some narrow gauge flex track to display some Lionel OO a long time ago. It was great for display, but I never actually ran the trains.
I will be interested to read the responses.
Forum member Mike Slater has a Lionel OO set he displays at some of the train shows.
He would more likely know.
On3 is the same as HO track, 5/8" between rails, OO track is 3/4" between rails.
According to two different sites on the web, On3 track is 3/4"
I know I have premade narrow gauge "O" scale track that matches "OO".
I could never remember whether it was On3 or On30. After reading this thread, and looking on the web, it has to be On3. (plus the math works)
I believe it is On30 that matches HO track.

On3 is NOT the same gauge as HO track. On3 is wider than HO track.
On30 is the same gauge as HO track.

HO standard gauge track scales to about 30" in O scale - hence On30. Three foot scales to 3/4" in O Scale, so On3 would be 3/4" between the rails - came as OO.
