I am once again asking if anyone knows how to get inside the body of the Lionel Milwaukee Road Hiawatha cars that came out a few years ago as a four car set. These are the cars that have the full interiors, and the silver frames around the windows of these Milwaukee cars. I need to get inside the cars to re-glue the people inside, and I need to continue to locate the problem of my Skytop with its on and off lighting (flickering). It is off more than it is on, while the rest of the cars are fine. Thanks.

Jeff,

I'll try to help.  There are 6 screws on the bottom - two on each end under the couplers and two in the center recessed into the undercarriage detail.  Remove these 6 screws, remove one or both of the vestibules and remove the undercarriage detail.  You will then see two tabs in the center that need to be turned to release the frame from the shell. Slide the metal frame toward the end that has the vestibule removed and the car should separate.  Once apart there is a quick connect for the lighting on one end.  Trace your flickering lights from there.  Good luck!

Thanks for the step by step. I'll be giving it a shot shortly. Appreciate it.
