I have a small layout (5x10) in my dining room (Thanks, honey for being understanding).  It has a lower loop and a raised loop to run 2 trains at the same time.  There is no room for much in the way of big Lionel Operating pieces except perhaps for a milk stand and a cattle corral.

I found a Lionel Playground set (24138) with swings, see-saw, and merry-go-round.  I really like the added animation.  I recently purchased the Pony Ride (14210) to add a little more interest.

Does anyone have a more complete list of items that were made in this grouping?  I know there is a tire swing that I think I will get, a "sly fox", a Rover's revenge, and a Golf set (which I've read here isn't too great).  I don't have the catalogs from this era so I'm having trouble finding what else might be available.

I really like the added animation these pieces add and hope they will be relatively trouble free.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Marty,

Thanks for the pictures and link to your YouTube Channel.  I like the way you set the items into the layout so there isn't a big step-up to get to them.  I did the same with my Playground using a foam cutter.

I probably wouldn't get the swings since they are already in the Playground but the Tug-of-War looks interesting.  I guess I have my work cut out for me searching for new items next week at York.

These were really not developed by Lionel they were originally made by K-line. Lionel took over making them after they took over K-line after the lawsuit. Most of these you will find on the second hand sites and will be listed as K-line

Really?  I'm pretty sure that I bought some if not all of these pre K-Line fallout.  I may certainly be wrong but I just don't remember these being a K-Line item.

Mr. Spiff and Puddles was manufactured in 2003 a few years before K-Line went under.  I bought these all around the same time.

Actually, these were all developed by Lionel. I have all the K-Line accessories and also many of these. K-Line accessories all differ somewhat significantly in terms of gearing, motor styles used, etc.
