Lionel Postwar 3424 Box and insert. | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have the 3424 repro box and I got an insert. If someone can advise me how the insert and the auxiliary box for the telltale parts would fit in the box, I would appreciate it. Please see the photo.

You are close - flip the insert upside down from the way you have it now - the cardboard rests on the roof of the car / the two folded "legs" hold the car in place - the parts box fits in next to the car
