Rumor has it Lionel is having tooling issues. What that entails I have no clue. Lionel’s shipping schedule has not been updated since who knows when, still has the Berks delivery in November. I’ve ask Mr. muffins about the situation since I have his special run on order, so far no response. Anyway, this is a FYI and don’t expect these engines for Christmas. Anyone have hard facts please post.

Well, I don't know other than what was posted on the "Well maybe next year(or time) post Gary. I only know what we both saw on TrainWorld's site. I would imagine if the Berk's they have there aren't coming in until March next year, that should also apply to the B&A's as well.
That being said, there could be any other number of reasons why the delay is or isn't coming in on schedule. Maybe there was delays in the ships leaving port to get over here, or maybe the great delay coming into port. Whatever the issue is we probably won't know until there is an announcement of the stuff coming in or one on why the delay is. Either way it will be a waiting game on our end which can be a curse or a blessing depending on how you look at it or affects you in particular. See what comes.
There are several engines past due or due the end of December that have been pushed back 3 or more months.
I'm not sure if the reasons are the same.
Tooling issue? Maybe they forgot which Chinese warehouse they left it in after the last run?l😏
I have one of the Mth tooled 0-6-0s on order. Trainworld recently changed the eta from this month to March 2023.
Covid quarantines are causing havoc all across China and it possible that the Lionel factories are effected. Of course the turmoil in China is also lowering oil prices so it's not all bad. Lower gasoline prices means more money for trains....
