Nice Review Eric, that's a neat little engine!!
I have one of these (in the Christmas "North Pole Central" road name). It is used each Christmas around a small tree in our entry hall pulling "naughty and nice" hoppers, peppermint tank cars, animated chase Christmas gondola, and caboose. It is always a favorite of the grandkids and their parents (and me ).
I bought a couple of these from the first run several years ago. For around $200 street price, they were a great bargain, all the features of much more expensive and larger locomotives.
Regretted passing on the BEDT model in the 1st run. Didn't make the same mistake twice. Runs great with my Cab 1L or the Lionchief app.
And I have the older conventional model and it's one of my favorites too!
I totally agree either you, Bob, about the BEDT (Brooklyn Eastern District) LC+2.0 tank engine.
Here is a photo and video of mine, which I've posted before, hauling giraffe cars to the Bronx Zoo:
Trains don't get cuter than this! Arnold
I'm up to 5 of them now.
I love that they're fairly detailed and pretty **** close to scale, for not much money.
I'm planning to 3RS/super detail the Lehigh Valley Coal this winter.
Chalk up another BEDT livery from the original run. These are such great little runners, and mine puts just about every other steamer to shame. The smoke!
Really cool engine love the detail and amazing pulling power for such a small engine!

My Lehigh Valley came in last week. It’s just an absolute, fun locomotive to run. And yes, lots of smoke!

I did the same thing. Passed on it the first time and was determined to not make the same mistake twice.
