Posting to this forum as this is a very generalized question.

Does the Lionel Legacy SD70ACe feature a start-up sequence as the MTH SD70ACe locomotives do?  I am not sure how to describe it other than a warning klaxon (sound) and then the engine fires up.

Basically, trying to find out if this is part of the Legacy Railsounds II...since the one I purchased does not seem to have this feature...or, at least, I can't get it to start-up using those sounds.

Thanks for any kind and OGR-Forum-Like response(s).

I don't know about the Lionel sound package for these very modern air-start diesel units but, MTH sent a recording team out to Sparks, NEV. a few years ago and actually did many recordings of various units starting up (all the new EMD units are now air-start) with all the warning klaxon and very noisy air starter motors. Having heard the real ones, the MTH sound package is pretty impressive.
