Lionel Standard gauge motors the difference ?

I have to buy some motors for some Lionel std. gauge engines. What is the difference between a super motor or a Bildamotor? Are they different once the Bildamotor is assembled. Or is the motor the same, but the only difference is the wheels depending on the engine. Are there more variations, Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks
