I'm looking at adding sound to my Burlington F3 Powered B unit 6-38700. If I could, I'd like to add the parts from a superbass unit for the added range it gives. My question is what horn would be the best match to the horn in the powered A 6-38597? I think the horn in the superbass (at least the one I heard) was the horn from the NW2. Video (Of my Burlington set) here.

You can use any super bass b, there is a switch to turn off the horn and bell sound. Unless you want horn and bell from the super bass. They all have different horns.

Yes I want the horn and bell. Ideally, I'd like it to be the same (or maybe ever so slightly different) from the Powered A horn so I can run the two horns together and get a huge sound.
I think my nyo&w super bass b unit sounds close to that. Ill get u a video tomorrow, I have the ns f7b super bass and that horn is different than the nyo&w Super bass horn

Cool. I've got the NYO&W NW2 which is nice.
Might be hard to get speaker enclosure In a powered b, there's not much room for Motors

I could just use the powered A enclosure if need be. I just want the sounds to be similar.

Lionel managed to fit the speakers into the NYO&W powered B-Unit, it has the full sound package. With the sound in the SuperBass unit, three of these four have sound, and two are powered. Can you say LOUD!

Well they cheaped out on the NS executive f9s.
I'm tempted to pop the top on the trailing A-Unit and stick a sound board in that one as well.

Difficult? Since the new powered B units no longer have sound systems they aren't giving that moving wall of sound effect.
Here are my Santa Fe F3s ABBA released about a year ago. As John said 2 powered w/ sound, 1 super bass, and dummy A. Quite the sound package. My current small layout has the nose chasing the tail but whatever...

I have a PRR F7 set as well. They sound pretty good as well.
