Just got the SP theater car and tried downloading the app. Its listed, but does not download. Any current info on this App? I tried searching, but all I get is old posts from 2 years ago.

Yep, my caboose is buried somewhere, I was pretty disappointed in that technology, at least the way Lionel did it.

I think on Android you have to download the app directly on the lionel site, it isn't offered through the play store.
As @ArtsModelTrains mentioned above, if you are on android you unfortunately have to do the (rather VERY insecure) method of downloading the Android APK file directly to your device (URL: http://www.lionel.com/articles...wnload-Instructions/), then installing it. Modern versions of android will deny installation from untrusted sources by default, so if prompted you would also need to disable app install security on your device first. (After installing - PROMPTLY re-enable it). Unfortunately this is a consequence of Lionel's complete disdain towards modern app development standards.
On iOS you would find it here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/...-camera/id1297821311 , however the app is very old, and your device if on newer iOS versions may not operate correctly with it. (YMMV with this).
One day in the distant future (1, 2, 5, 10, maybe 20? years) Lionel will hopefully hire or contract out to fix their mess of mobile apps.
