Disney and Lionel Trains go way back. Lionel's Mickey and Minnie Mouse Handcar was a huge success and got the company through financial problems. Lionel has made some Disney-themed rolling stock and train sets like the Toy Story and Frozen Lionchief sets. One set they should make is the Disneyland Train set. The set could have announcements so kids could recreate the real train's trip around the park. Perhaps a separate-sale Disneyland station could also be made as well as a couple of extra passenger cars. I would buy this set. My family loves Disneyland and I love trains.

Really surprised they haven't already. I would pick up a set if made, especially a Disneyland station. Lego makes (made) a set - about $300 I think.
However unlikely, an O scale mine train (through natures wonderland) model with some cars would be pretty nifty! I know the scaling would be a bit tedious, but its a decently cute little locomotive with quite a bit of nostalgia behind it. I think the Walt Disney Barn has a complete(ish) model layout on it and I know somebody built a larger scale replica, and it looks pretty good at those scales. Would make for a pretty cool LionChief starter set with even additional cars to add on

I agree. I think a Disney themed train would sell well. Especially with Disney themed announcements like was mentioned. Maybe some Disney figures to go in passenger cars for kids to load and unload load would be fun.
Lionel can make the trains, but in return Disney/Pixar make part 2 and 3 of Lionelville
Monorail!
I would be in for a model of the WDW Walter E. Disney with matching cars.
I just picked up the decals from the MTH auctions to do one of their 4-6-0's up as this engine. They were going to do them using their 4-6-0's, but the project didn't make it to production (I think two samples were made)
