Lionel Uncataloged Custom Run Susquehanna C-420

We've submitted our final quantity to Lionel.  We're only making 25 of these.  All but a handful are reserved.  If you want one of the few unspoken for ones, see info in above post.

The effort on the C 420 is a slightly different marketing approach.  IMO.  Mr. Muffin's Trains also offers a C420 pre-order for the Lehigh Valley paint scheme.  Enough independent train shops, supplying parts of a larger order, with a minimum of shelf stock items.   Built to order, a different way. IMO.  

I've been waiting for the NYS&W 2000 ever since Lionel first came out with the C 420. I was disappointed that Lionel did the high nose 2010 in this year's catalog. The minute I saw this thread I put in my order for the 2000. Here are some photos of the 2000 I took back when It powered an excursion I rode back in the early 80s. The excursion ran from Utica, NY to Norwich, NY.

Thanks for posting this!!  I can't believe I missed it the first time.  I'm very pleased to see this offered and after seeing several of the C420 custom schemes from Mr. Muffin's I had asked if one of these might be in the works.   This after also being disappointed seeing only the high nose one in the catalog.  I've been hoping one of these would be made at some point and because of this post I put in an order.  This made my day.  Thanks again.

I have never seen one of the final products. Please post a picture.

I have the LV 414 from Mr. Muffins as well and the Lehigh and Hudson River and Susquehanna 2010 models. These engines to me are perfect!! I was asleep at the wheel for the low nose Susquehanna 2000 and am always looking for one.
