Car just arrived today. Excited to try it out to see the video on the ipad. Applied power and track circuit breaker immediately popped. Diagnosis: dead short on the rear truck. That's a first for me! On monday, will ship it back to the store hopefully for another new one.

UPDATE: Trainworld graciously replaced my car. The new one is working well. The WiFi camera quality is substantially better than earlier attempts to use cameras operating at 2.4 GHz which exhibited receive interference from other home products (like wireless telephones) using the same frequency band. There are some undesirable artifacts in the picture that occasionally pop up as the car is in motion, but overall the videos are good. On my ipad, I have been able to directly email the videos to family members who have been quite impressed. I'll be especially looking forward to the WiFi-camera caboose because I can only run this 21" car on just one of my main lines.
That’s Great News, now, post a few pictures of your new theater car, top, bottom, sides, and the rear end....Happy Railroading....Thank You....

DUMB QUESTION: Is that the camera between the rear seats?
Not to be negative against Lionel which the last few years I normally am, but I think the camera would have looked better up against the glass as opposed to between the seats.

Yes, the camera is between the rear seats. People sitting in the last row just need to high-jump over the camera to reach their seats. It's only a problem if they are carrying drinks from the dining car or you're over 30 years old.
Wouldn't the people carrying drinks enter from the other end of the car?

The problem is only for people in that last row!
Has anyone tried removing the plexiglass?

I don't see the plexiglass as a problem with image quality, although I have not tried removing it as a comparison.
