Lionel VISION GS1 Technical Difficulties

Maybe doing a engine reset would get it working. Should be towards end of manual on doing the reset. Don't know much about the MTH stuff and if it would have anything to do with it.

That is weird. Have you tried running it with Bluetooth via the app or universal remote? It’d be good to know if it would work with either of those.

I hesitate to venture a guess what with lights not working, but maybe your Z-1000 is not providing enough power. These multi - smoke unit engines need a lot of it. Do you have access to a bigger transformer? And/or a CAB2 remote? In any case, try Bluetooth and see if that wakes it up.

If you’re running with Legacy, try pressing the AUX 2 key on the remote.

Hopefully that resolves the issue.
