Roger, this is just my opinion. Unless you are a LCCA member and get here for the 1800 to 2000 hrs. Friday Nov. 6th opening forget it. The members clean out the good stuff. If you have been viewing posted pictures of this event you see this. The exception would be if you are after mass-produced items like "FasTrack" and starter sets.
When Lionel first moved down here they had Spring events for LCCA members and if not a member you could join at the door. And this is all well and good if you want to be a member.
Then two-years ago if I recall they advertised the first Fall event open to ALL. But the LCCA membership whined that they did NOT get a first shot like the Spring events. I still have advertising copy where NO LCCA early access was identified. Not long before the event the LCCA got it's early access.
Now since they are just down the road and I had a new product question for someone in the know I went early Saturday morning. I received my product answer. BUT all the "good stuff" was gone. Still a lot of FasTrack and starter sets but not the kind of scale stuff for me. Looking at the Friday event photos posted here on the forum you saw that there were in fact piles of stuff not there Saturday. Also photos of members with piles of stuff in their shopping cart/carts. Some even committed of this stuff for eBay sales.

I read it to mean that also includes phone orders for those of us who can't make the sale in NC. Can anyone confirm?
In the past, all folks were able to order parts online and receive the discount. It is my understanding that it will be the same this year.
I don't know anything about phone orders.
Thank you for the replies. I am an LCCA member. I went last year and got some good deals and got to meet Scott at the door. I'll be there Friday.
how do you find "parts" on the Lionel site?
I just called and the Parts Sale is good until Sunday night!

LOL The last time they had a sale, I had a list of parts that I wanted to purchase. By the time the sale came around, most of them were no longer available. Hope to do better this time.
