Maybe I am getting forgetful. but is there any US example of a 2-6-4 loco such as the ones Lionel fielded? This is being called the 'Adriatic' overseas, and from a bit of research, except for a German and Australian model, they only seem to be tank engines, even the ones used by 5 RR's in the US like the Illinois Central. Was this loco called an Adriatic over here, or was it given another name? Lionel made a 2-6-2 and a 2-6-4 and called them both 'Prairie' which is usually a 2-6-2. Guessing they just took literary license on their 2-6-4's
