Not a devastating issue however, 6-12035, Lionel Lighted bumpers. I like these and have many in the yard, however is there any tricks to keep them lite. They are hit and miss and require wiggling etc a lot to keep lite.

OR is there a better product folks have seen that works with fastrack. Appreciate any tips.

Your problem with these bumpers is not unusual.

The current production version of these bumpers incorporate a modification that eliminates the issue; however, that won't help you with the ones you already have. You can find a thread here somewhere in which gunrunnerjohn explains how to modify them so they are 100% reliable.

A footnote to the LIGHTED BUMPERS thread ...

My L-shaped layout with tubular track has four stub sidings; three for train storage and one for service at several action accessories. I installed the die-cast 6-62283 bumpers at all four siding ends for the obvious purpose, and wired the isolated sidings to ON/OFF toggle switches at the control panel.  I can park LionChief trains at the sidings, turn OFF the track power switch, and refer to the lighted (or not) bumpers to instantly see of which track is "live" or not. A handy feature, especially with my fading memory.
