 Hi fellow members,

I am looking for a good place to have a K line 2-6-6 tanker converted to PS3 .

I do most of my upgrades myself with a 95 per cent correct but I do burn some boards.

I do not like to do other than MTH engines, but my experience with "professionals " doing other brands has been very bad.

I had a big steam engine done and when I decided to check it out since I am familiar with mth circuits I found the speaker glued with hot silicone and other cheap labor like that.

my other experience was sending the engine to a highly qualified shop .they did a high quality job but took a full year to get my engine back.

I will appreciate your comments.

best regards.

jorge

I'll 'third' GGG...but only because he's my data point(s).  I've heard nothing but GOOD about Gunrunner John, but if he's overloaded and is forthright to say so....I'd save his link for a future job.

I know there are other reputable, excellent service/conversion folks out there.  Go with the recommendations.  It's a valuable fraternity (and sorority!) to keep information on!!

Thanks John,

I have a U.S. Address and home.freight is very expensive,so I ship fron the U.S.

as far as I know there is me and PabloRosas that do some work with MTH engines He is certified and what I know I learned from Him but he is constantly having health problems.

I will take the opportunity to ask if You have an Mth steam PS 2. 5 volt harness with head and back up option available.

can You please let me know the cost and time(I can handle that) to convert my tanker to ps 3 any ways.

thanks a lot John and best regards.
