Replies sorted oldest to newest

Instead of the forum’s search function, I have been more luck recently doing Google searches using the appropriate keywords plus the term “ogr forum” in the string of words. That tends to catch more stuff quickly, including YouTube embeds if the keywords are right, than the native OGR search engine can.

The forum’s advanced search is still better if you want to include a date range to narrow your searches, however.

To make it easy, bookmark this link. At the top of the page next to the Google logo, you have the search box. Just back space over the words except for "siteogrforum.ogaugerr.com" and type in your search inquiry.

You'll notice I have images selected, but you can select "all" for text descriptions. But you can still click on the image and once it opens a view box, you can click again and come right here to this forum.

It's great having the search function here on this forum, but like Jim, I have found Google just a little bit easier to use.
