I have a few structures that I want to put a tin roof on but haven't had any success locating this type of roofing. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Look for bass wood board and batten siding and do some sanding, sealing, and painting. Should be about right (comes in several sizes) and only the few who are real scale nit-pickers will ever know.
Evergreen and Plastruct sell sheet material that may suit your needs.
Yes, to above comments about plastic sheet "metal" style roofing. There is real metal corrugated roofing from ? sources, but haven't ordered . What l am putting on a skid shack right now was left over from a kit. I use epoxy for glue to hold real metal; Testor's for plastic.
Builders In Scale. Click to link. I had used their corrugated metal roof on a BTS Kit.
Evergreen has great material for this application if you like working with plastic.

Yup. If you want real metal roofing in several styles (corrugated, standing seam, etc.) and sizes and even some in copper, then BiS is the source.
Did l miss, but does the BiS site tell you how many sq. in. of material comes in a pkge.? I get sent to Plastruct because some available material from some sources is in HO size quantities, about enough for an O scale johnny house, and roofing then costs more than a kit for a stamp mill.

The length of each BiS piece is 7 1/2" Then you pick the length of each siding/roofing piece, the width of the BiS pieces pictured. Can be purchased 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 scale feet.
My project worked with three pieces of roofing. Each piece was 6 scale ft (1.5"). Then each piece has to be cut from the strips, unless you are applying it as one complete roof/siding panel. I used an arbitrary 3 ft width for each roofing piece.
Strips as purchased. Pictured 6 ft O Scale pieces, that are 7 1/2" long. Can be cut with an exacto knife, or scissors.
Modeling 2019, we have a lot of stuff to work with. IMO.
Good idea on the aluminum foil "make-your-own". Hardest thing is finding any construction material locally, but that won't be. Two shops l stopped at today were out of Plastruct. What came in this other kit, long done, that l am using, looks like the BiS corrugated shown above. I weather, cut, and overlap.
