You might check the Scenery and Strructures forum here. LOTS of photos of the real things, and many models, just about every day. Scroll through the last week or month of stuff and there are tons of what you may be looking for . .
A great option is old postcards of different cities. Pick a city and search the net you will be amazed at what is out there that can be a great reference tool.
