Hi guys
That was just a small sample of the food, you guys are going to be amazed of what else there is. Make sure you all come hungry tomorrow.!!!!
Here's a hint, 4 different styles of Italian pizza bread. Plus a whole lot more
Alex
Alex,
Sounds like a awesome feast is to be had. I guess that Brian, Elizabeth and myself won't have to stop for breakfast on the drive down!
Or supper on the drive back home.
See you tomorrow.
Mike.
Elizabeth wants her breakfast. Our treat.
TGB:
Thanks for your kind words. We will drive carefully and yes, it will be a very long drive.
Brian and Elizabeth,
I want breakfast as well! It's the most important meal of the day. With caffeinated coffee of course! Need to be alert for the drive.
Maybe even a light supper/snack?
Had a guy pick up the cake for you
Looks delicious! Getting ready to leave shortly!

Someone is always getting married in an Italian neighborhood.
i think I'm engaged to Alex's Empire State Express.
Who will perform the ceremony?
I have it . . . .
Reverend Ed Boyle
Looks like you will all have a blast tonight! Have fun.
When some of your people aren't too busy gorging your stomachs and/or playing trains (I realize that some are able to handle both tasks simultaneously), I do hope you'll take out your cameras and grab some photos for posting here.
Those of us unable to partake in these festivities would like to see what transpired.
Ben are you sure you bought a big enough cake
Eliot wait until you hear this engine, amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Allan you have my word there will be tons of photos
Thanks, Alex
Boy Ben...you just can't get no respect can you!!!

It's 12:02, I'm late, I'm late!
Well, the food was great and so was the company! Alex and Dina are great hosts, there were big smiles all around. He has a very nice layout as well. It got very crowded in the train room at times, right after the crowd at the food line!
I had a great time. Thank you Alex and Dina. I had a lot of fun meeting all the forum members in person. The food was fantastic. I wish I would have had more time to stay. I just got back from helping my son get into the house that he and his wife just purchased. He put me to work for a few hours.
Next year I will stay for the duration.
Alan Graziano
Great party !

Great food, Dina is amazing. sausage and peppers, chicken cordon blue, pizza bread, baked ziti, amazing.
Jim Barrett, Mike Reagan, Steve Breneissen, Marty Fitzhenry, and the NJ Hi Railers.
Wow, what a great way to kick off the train season.

Great food, great people, a wonder day hosted By Alex and Dina. Here are a few random pictures I took.
Thanks Alex and Dina. It was a great day, Dina's food was amazing and the layout is awesome! And thanks to Scrapiron and Ginny for picking me up! It was great meeting some forumites for the first time. Brian, Passenger Train Collector, came all the way down from Maine. Mike Regan, it was great that you made it all the way from NC.
Alex & Dina,
Thanks so much for inviting us. We had a great time and enjoyed Dina's fine fare. Your layout in person is so much more in person. Isabel was giving me some pointers, Alex. I hope that I can measure up. Wish that we could have stayed a little longer.
Alex and Dina....
Even though LaKeeta and I didn't make it....and as you know we had planned on being there, we want to thank both of you for hosting this great event! Folks will remember this and be talking about it for years! I can tell that all of you had a great time and the pictures are wonderful. If you get a chance, it would be great if the names of folks in the pictures could be posted. I know many already from the forum and the Mid America 3-Railers but there were a few I didn't know....like that big guy from Lionel...who the heck was he???
I tip my hat to you both....and everyone that attended!
Alan
Thanks so much to Alex and Dina who were gracious hosts! I had a truly enjoyable time and was happy to see old friends and meet some new ones!

Hello everyone,
Thank you all so much for the awesome get together yesterday, so many of you traveled so far for this. I think this is going to be a yearly event, we had a huge turnout and next year will shoot for more. Beautiful people, awesome food, running trains, and a ton of laughs. That's what so great about this hobby.
Thanks again,
Alex & Dina
