Marty E to the rescue (again) Cab2 update

Shout out to Marty E for helping me update my Cab2. I recently found myself needing to update the Cab2 and being a MAC guy I had to hunt for a PC and when I found one to borrow, I quickly found out there was no serial port. Quick message to Marty for options and after an exchange of e-mails he offered to update my module - like he has offered for the last few York meets.

Received the module back from Marty and just updated the Cab2, took a total of about 7 seconds to update, no issues.

This message is not really about the software update is as much the real value of this forum. There are many people here willing to extend help like Marty and to me, that is the most useful part of the forum. BTW, I'm not even sure I have met Marty, but if we did, I apologize for forgetting.

Glad I could help Charlie! My pleasure.  And thanks to everyone for the kind words.

The offer stands for all regardless of if you're a member here or other forums.  I know sometimes it's difficult to get the modules made.  If anyone needs an upgrade contact me via my email.  Just send me module(s) and we'll get them made, tested, and sent back.  The cost is the postage to get them to me and to pay it forward.  We're a small community and to me a few minutes of my time is well worth keeping the hobby going.

That's a great idea, and I'll extend an offer to do updated modules as well.
