Here are a few items to check:

-Is the positive solder ball within the socket up enough to make contact with the bulb? If not can you lift the insulator up within the socket.

-Check with a voltmeter the positive connection point within the socket to ground to ensure your wire is not broken within the lamppost.

-Do you have a good ground connection at the switch to the lamppost tab on the bottom?

Look at your center picture. The light is mounted on a fiber disk. You can see the green tab on the bottom right. However, the tab on top left is not there, it's broken off. The riveted lever swivels to make contact and ground the light. To keep from taking it apart you can solder a wire from the lever to the green tab.
