Going a bit out of my planned sequence. I love learning new things. I still need to photo my scale flat cars and accessories before doing sets, but this is a mixture.

A month or so ago, a set showed up on e-bay, nothing unusual in the set, PRR which many of the sets are. The seller neglected to photo the end of the box which would have the set number. I e-mailed him and asked for the set number. He responded with 70091KB which is completely out of sequence with any of the 20+ other sets I have. 10xxx is the norm with a couple 12xxx thrown in. I won the auction and from the same seller, also a 5579 Track/Transformer set of which I have had a few. When they arrived, I was surprised to see the Track/Transformer set also had a KB at the end although the basic number 5579 was a standard accessory type number. I got a hold of Jim Flynn and asked about the unusual numbering. Ends up they made about 200 of these sets for KB Toys as well as the Track/Transformer set. I was aware of the Marx Trains special for Sears, but had not known of the KB connection.
