We finally dug out Mel's dinner and the MTH car wash but the controllers are missing. (so are the instructions) I did look at the wiring instruction on MTH's web site but I'm not sure what type or how many of toggles to use? Are they momentary or On/off types. Any help is appreciated.

Any momentary push botton will work. Here is a link to the MTH website that should take you to the instructions.

Both accessories use five connections under the base. The A connection gets the "center rail" wire from the transformer, the C connection gets the "ground" wire from the transformer, D and E are accessory lights, a momentary "on" button connects to the A connection, and the B connection, When you power up the accessory, the lights will come on, and when you push the momentary "on" button, that should start the action. Be sure to put smoke in the car wash, or someone will have to replace the wick in the smoke unit, not a bad job, but one that can be avoided.
