Has anyone fired up one of the 200 wireless F3's offered by Menard's for $129.95?

Good point and I did review that thread. I was hoping that this forum topic would attract input and perhaps more details from the wireless systems fans.
I have had some time running Steve Eastman's units. The electronics are very similar to the ones used in the early Lionel Thomas sets and now the ready to play sets. The systems are not full Bluetooth so the LionChief universal remote does not work. Also the Menards units have the volume control on the remote. The remotes appear to be interchangeable from one engine to another and just like the Lionel systems I mentioned once the remote sees the engine they pair themselves to one another so running an AA consist will take doing what I did with the Ready to Play remotes using two remotes back to back and creating a handle to run both remotes at the same time, one forward and one reverse.
