Does it make a difference if a 4.5v 700ma adapter vs. the recommended 1000ma or 1a is used for powering the 20 white led's, the sign and the 2 red transformer led's? I just tried a Lemax 4.5v 700ma adapter and all lights except the two red transformer led's are illuminated? Could the 300 ma difference cause this issue? I haven't had a chance to examine the wiring for a loose connection or test the red led's but was wondering about the amperage shortage issue.

I doubt it. What you used should have been fine.
I suspect something with the red lights.
Thanks for your reply. I didn't think it should make a difference but was hoping the solution would be that simple. I haven't seen any posts where the led's didn't work. I guess I'm the unlucky one.
Actually, a friend of mine had a similar problem.
Menard's is one of the best when it comes to correcting problems with their products.
Twice they were excellent at making it right with me.
You should contact them.
I was able to troubleshoot the red led problem. It turns out that the leoco plug connector was never inserted into the pcb during product assembly. A little tedious to reach the pcb, but once reconnected the red transformer lights are flashing properly. Thanks again Soo Line for your replies.
Pleased it worked out for you.
