The Menards Piggly Wiggly store makes a high pitched sound whenever it’s on that I can’t stand! I have a Miller NP railroad sign that makes the same sound. Both use the power cord/ wall worts that were provided and go to an extension cord plugged into the main power strip. Is there anything that I can do to get rid of the sound or does everyone’s make this noise?

Unfortunately no. The few Menards building with motion signs that I have also make this same high pitch sound. The silver lining - you have really good hearing!
Unusual. I have numerous Menards buildings with motion signs and none of them make noise.

My dad can't hear the ones on my layout but I do!
Its normal.
Miller engineering makes dozens of flashing billboards for the hobby. All of them make the same noise.
You won't hear it went the trains are running.

I can hear the same issues in my Menard’s buildings (yay for good hearing!) after seeing the thread above, plus another thread I can’t immediately find, I put a glob of hot glue on the part that they identified in the thread above and the vibration noise (high pitched noise) was gone. Other folks have used foam to stop the vibration too.
