have you looked at their web site
I noticed that the $19.99 cars from last year are $24.99 now, plus no more 11% sale.
I was a bit surprised too. The only new releases seem to be the flatcars with a Ram truck and the '51 Ford trucks. The only promo currently is for HO product. Unfortunately with all of the Menards bashing recently, Mark seems to have gone dark. Can't say I blame him. Maybe Cabinet Bob will chime in.

They have done the no 11% before and the price increase was expected if you think about it. Look at all the price increases elsewhere like even Mcdonald's.
I did visit their site and didn't see anything being promoted. That's why I posted this question. I thought maybe I was potentially overlooking something.
I have a couple items in the cart - waiting for a promotion of some kind so I may take advantage of it. I guess I'll have to wait a bit more.
Thanks for your responses.
Thanksgiving week was the last 11% off sale for this year.
The train stuff at my store does not go on sale, they move the leftover inventory to the second floor where you can buy it all year long. Then it comes back down to the first floor generally around Thanksgiving, and the cycle repeats every year at least at the store I shop at.
IIRC, back in, like, 2005-2010’ish, Menards used to heavy discount toys the weekend before Christmas. That’s when I used to buy the Lionel sets produced for Menards. You had to be at the store at opening time because stuff went fast.

It seems Menards has a new incentive/offering today!
It seems the previous link only took viewers to Google instead of directly to the Ad I recieved.
Thus I've removed the link and posted the pictures here for you to read.
They had the Piggly Wiggly store on sale in GB for $ 49.95 which was 1/2 off.

All I get from that is a site to subscribe to Gmail.

Hello Dave,
Thanks for the heads up on the link not working.
I've replaced it with a set of photos from the Ad itself.
At the Menard's in Morton Grove, IL, in the past, train items go on sale Dec 26, a day that I have off.
I recall when Fastrack was stocked at Menard's, a 4-pack was 10$ one or two days after Christmas, then gone. I don't think the big M does that anymore.
In the past, Menards has put clearance sales on its O gauge demo buildings and sometimes products by other model train makers, but the company does not clearance off its own product line in general.
That could change if inventory builds up on a certain item, I suppose, but it certainly isn’t an annual occurrence.
If you are fortunate to live near a Menards they usually have their 15% off bag sale in early January. Rest of the year they offer an 11% rebate on everything in store and on-line.
As in all orders coming from China, there is a big backlog of items.. stay tuned, you'll be surprised !!

This sounds very promising! Looking forward to any and all future announcements.

I'm always skeptical of the items which have been plugged in for a month or two.

Most of the buildings are just a little too big to fit into the bag. Cars and track fit, though.
