Menard's is the undisputed price leader. How can you possibly go wrong for $19.95? Now it looks like even some the rivet detail may have been added but these cars remind me of the smooth side 1980's MPC 6700 box cars. Its a shame that the Eastern market is not being tapped into. Would love to see these sold by the dealers at the train shows.

I believe you mean #9700 series box cars. Not #6700 box cars. I believe, the only #6700 car that Lionel made was a refrigerator car for a ice station.
