About 2/3rds done with our little layout. It takes place in the western part of Nebraska by the Sandhills and Bad lands. It is based on my wife's great uncle Barney Cody who lived his whole life single, out in the hills, in a two room shack. We still have a gazillion little weeds to place on the layout as well as weathering more equipment and need to build a horse tank. I thought I would share a few photos in the constuction stage. The track is o-31 MTH scale trax(looks nice but a pain in the #$@ to connect). We also used real Nebraska Sandhills dirt(sand). Our base is 33 inches squared.
