I just installed an Amtrak Kit 8281 bill board sign.  The sign seems to work OK but the marked pin is overheating at the sign pin connector.  You can smell it and visually see the burnt connection both on the sign and the receptacle.  Any ideas why this would happen ? I have other signs driven by the Miller power supply and they  have been working fine for years.

Still working with Miller on the sign. One thing is clear, the connector interface at the marked pin is toast both on the sign and receptacle.  A jumper may solve the problem.  The issue is how to attach a wire to the sign trace.  I'm thinking current density at the connector due to connector damage is causing the overheating.  A jumper between the ribbon cable and sign trace might solve the problem   Any ideas on how to attach a wire tot the trace ?  Conductive copper tape ?
