I don't want to bug Chris with my question, so I'll ask you guys:  I saw the new "3-D Welcome" sign at York.  I don't get where the "3-D" part comes from.  The sign looked to me like the normal flat animated sign.

For those that have it, what makes it 3-D?

As always - thanks - walt

That was the only thing that I saw "3-D" but to me that couldn't be it since their billboard sign supports are also "3-D".  At the OGR grandstand meeting Chris said that building the same old TYPE of signs was running out of steam and this new technology will be the wave of the future for many of his signs.

To me that says that it's the sign itself, not the supporting structure.

I was at the grandstand gathering.  My understanding is that it's fully assembled sans a name and title that the owner decides upon and applies, from an included set of titles and names.
